Happy Birthday Marines

Just wanted to post a blog wishing any and all Marines a happy birthday. November 10.
I know these blogs are rarely read by anyone, but it makes me feel better writing it.
Especially now, as I write this my Marine brothers are fighting it out in Fallujiah. I know that many will survive the battle and return home healthy, but the exposure to combat will permeate their thoughts until the day they die, and this will have far reaching effects on all of them. I am not saying that they are going to be psychopaths, just a bit different since they left.
So if you know someone who is over there (Marine or otherwise), pay them the respect they deserve. If anything they just need to hear a "Thank You" even if you don't believe that the war is the right. The men and women the service are the best this country has to offer. The one's that chose to sacrifice something of themselves so that we can preserve our way of life. Bear this in mind as you practice free speech, load your rifle or cast your vote. These are inherent freedoms provided by the Constitution and we must protect them, and respect them for they are what make this country great.

Question of the year...
"Who cares what Canada thinks anyway?"
